VIA Networks Partners With Data Wave to Offer Introduction to Web Design Course for Small Businesses

VIA Networks, a leading provider of managed services and dedicated hosting solutions built around Microsoft technologies, today announced it has partnered with Data Wave for its Introduction to Web Design course that will be offered throughout the year.  The first course will start Wednesday, June 17. Data Wave develops content managed websites and training for individuals and small businesses.

The two day
Introduction to Web Design course will teach students the basics of building and managing a content managed website, including how to use the Joomla! content management system. At the end of the two-day course, students will complete their first website.

"It's easier than ever for you to build and manage your own website," said Jennifer Krasovec, Director of Sales and Marketing at VIA Networks. "Most beginners don't know where to start though. Data Wave's course walks them through all the steps, enabling them to create their first site by the end of the two day course."

Data Wave's Introduction to Web Design course is designed for individuals who want to design and manage their own websites on a regular basis, including the ability to perform ongoing updates and changes without having to hire a website developer.

"It's great to have a partner like VIA Networks support our program," said Doug Wheeler, VP of Sales "Setting up and managing
Web hosting is often the most intimidating part of managing a website for beginners and VIA Networks really makes it simple. We're looking forward to teaming up on this event."

Testimonials

“I have searched long and hard for reliable and easy to use web hosting. Throughout the search, I have seen great deals, but bad customer service; great customer service, but the company always seemed to have trouble with their networks. There always seemed to be something that went wrong. Then I discovered Via Networks.”
